Solution Architect / Process Analyst (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Locate source documentation such as solution architecture, capability roadmaps, program plans, financial policies, risks, current control frameworks so that we have a comprehensive understanding of upcoming system changes that will impact business processes.
  • Analyze business and technical documentation to identify and draft BPMN 2.0 process diagrams and application context diagrams depicting operations, controls, and potential risks to facilitate a common understanding of impacts among business and technical stakeholders.
  • Create clear and concise process maps, flowcharts, end-to-end solution architectures, including system integration, data flow, and interfaces based on business and technical specifications/documents.
  • Work with technical and business stakeholders to clarify and refine document business process flows and system data flows.
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to ensure new business risks introduced to workflows are identified and adequately addressed and to enable accurate and efficient conversations with internal and external auditors.
  • Develop and document acceptance test cases to facilitate the validation of proposed workflows with the proposed controls.
  • Identify potential alternatives for workflows and control frameworks and pros / cons of each; present them to stakeholders, and facilitate discussion to arrive at the best approach and clearest documentation.

  • Ability to define and document solutions for new or improved system functionality
  • Experience with Agile methodology and deliverables
  • Technical background (software development, data analysis/data analytics, systems architecture, testing, etc.)
  • Background in the Telecommunications industry (e.g., BSS/OSS, TM Forum Frameworx, ODA, order-to-cash process)
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with both technical and non-technical leaders
  • Creative problem solving
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Demonstrated skills with leading / mentoring other team members
  • Detail oriented

Preferred Skills/Abilities

  • Experience with Agile tools for managing requirements
  • Experience with Finance or Accounting
