Strategy Vice President
Cartesian is seeking high performing candidates to join our TMT Strategy consulting practice in North America.
Candidates should have strong relationship management skills, a proven track record in selling and delivering strategy consulting services, an entrepreneurial spirit, and relevant industry experience/expertise. In this role, candidates will focus across multiple clients, and have responsibility for business development and engagement oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Build trusted relationships with key client executives and develop ideas, pursue opportunities and close sales
- Navigate various levels within the client organization
- Play a leadership role in pursuits, proposals and overall account management
- Drive sales efforts across the breadth of a client’s business units and functions
- Identify and influence key decision-makers at all levels within the client organization
- Mentor strategy consulting team members and contribute to the development of the strategy business unit
- Oversee engagement delivery, serving as a subject-matter expert to both clients and the strategy consulting team
Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years of relevant experience, with at least half delivering strategy consulting engagements
- Proven track record of over 5+ years selling strategy consulting services
- Content expertise in one or more areas within the TMT industry (e.g., MNOs, MSOs/Telcos, IoT, Cloud/Datacenter, Network Virtualization, Customer Acquisition/Retention)
Location: Boston, MA location preferred; other locations considered with substantial time spent in Boston
