Broadband Infrastructure Playbook – Updated
Commissioned by the Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) and NTCA –The Rural Broadband Association, the Playbook contains essential information for states as they ramp up to deliver rural broadband infrastructure under the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program. The Playbook delivers relevant information from the Statute, outlines and recommends program structure, and provides successful examples from the best state broadband programs.
The Broadband Infrastructure Playbook was developed by Cartesian in partnership with experts from the FBA and NTCA. Through extensive research including interviews with state broadband officers, Cartesian identified best practice from previous state broadband programs and distilled this to create a practical ready-to-use guide.
Cartesian has many years of experience in state-funded broadband programs, both in the USA and overseas. Areas of support include program design, economic analysis, broadband mapping, business case development, and grant application support.
The Fiber Broadband Association has released Playbook 3.0 here: https://fiberbroadband.org/resources/broadband-infrastructure-playbook-3-0/
